Description

SeraSilk® AM 80 is a crosslinked gel containing substituted alkyl functionality to increase organic compatibility in personal care formulations.  SeraSilk ® AM 80 had a high swelling capability in hydrocarbon oils and increases the structural viscosity of the oil phase.  The diluent of this product is 2cS dimethicone.

SeraSilk® AM 80 has good spreadability and adhesion onto the skin due to the alkyl chain.  A further benefit of this product is that it contains <0.1% D4.

KCC Beauty silicone elastomer blends are strong mattifying agents and are ideal for use in colour cosmetics applications where their sebum absorbing properties offer a matte, smooth and non-greasy appearance. They have the ability to increase formulation oil phase viscosity and produce a dry, silky smooth skin feel.

Recommended usage level 1 – 90%, but highly dependent on application.
