Basildon Chemicals BC 99/030 is a silicone wax. BC 99/030 provides typical silicone properties such as gloss enhancement, hydrophobicity and durability. It can be combined with typical waxes used in car care formulations e.g. Carnauba, Paraffin, Polyethethylenes to improve product “rub out” and application. Like other organo-functional siloxanes, it can be used in bodyshop applications where surface re-paintability is an issue with more conventional silicone fluids.
